Film Composer

Stuart M. Thomas

Composer Stuart Michael Thomas has amassed over 70 feature film credits during his time in Hollywood including international blockbusters such as Thor: The Dark World, The Hunger Games, and The Dark Knight.

Other films he has contributed to are Michael Clayton(Oscar nomination for Best Score), Avengers: Age of Ultron, The Bourne Legacy, Now You See Me 2, and several of the Fast & Furious films.

He was also honored to contribute music and arrangements to Touchstone Pictures' Gnomeo & Juliet featuring songs by Elton John and with performances by his eponymous band.

From 2005 to 2012 he worked with 9-time Oscar Nominee James Newton Howard, co-producing and performing on numerous soundtracks such as Water For Elephants, The Last Airbender, Charlie Wilson's War, I Am Legend and Larry Crowne (written and directed by Tom Hanks).

Among his independent projects are the award-winning documentary Bustin' Down The Door as well as short films such as Chilly, Commerce, and the amazing upcoming short The Kid.

Since 2001 he has been featured in more than 80 film and television shows. He has been awarded the Screen Actors Guild Award for outstanding performances in both "Iron Man" in 2009 and the "Pirates of the Caribbean at World's End" in 2008.

In 2004 he was nominated by MTV and the Taurus Award for Best Fight in the "Rundown" in 2004.

In recent years he has been seen using his acting skills in several films including "Hood Rats" and "Harsh Times" with Christian Bale, as well as Disney's television show "Kickin it" and "The District" on CBS.

As a stuntman in the industry since 2001, he has performed various stunts in television and film projects including car hits, fire burns, high falls, stair falls, wire gags, driving, boxing, martial arts, and gymnastics.

Most recently he is using his skills and his years as a professional in the industry as a stunt choreographer and coordinator and is now creating, directing and producing his own short film projects titled "Fugitive, Triumph, Paladin and Cartel" that can now be viewed on Youtube.

In between projects in his downtime you can find him at the gym or training centers where he keeps his skills sharp and his body fit by teaching others in groups and private lessons.
